The Dancing Bear Lodge - Townsend, Tennessee

Mike and I spent a restful weekend at the Dancing Bear Lodge in Townsend.   Townsend is popular with hikers and white water rafters and in the summer months is teaming with activity.

There are lots of opportunity to relax, with several lounging areas located in the main lodge, a family game room, outdoor deck areas with fireplace and rocking chairs and centralized hiking trails to walk off the three course dinner served nightly.

I'm loving this huge chandelier and these doors are gorgeous.

Follow me down this lovely hallway to our room.

We stayed in the main lodge in the Paw Paw Room, but there are cabins for those so inclined, as well.

Big four poster feather bed was heavenly.

All the furnishings are rustic log...even the bathroom vanity.

If you have a chance to visit Townsend, I would highly recommend The Dancing Bear Lodge and it will definetly be a place we will visit again.

All The Best,
Pin It!

This looks like a really neat place to stay! The g'kidlets would ♥ it!

I'll have to check to see just how far away it is from Ohio, drive-time.
Thanks for sharing your vacation spot & thanks for your sweet comments on my quilt, too.
