Whitie Tighties....Tabletop Tuesday

My family has been sick with a stomach virus for the past week....it has gone from family to family and each member has had it in differing degrees of yuckiness.  So far, Mike and I have managed to miss it.  Tanesia's family had it first...then it moved to Tiffany's family with the babies sick over the weekend and both she and Jacob were sick with it yesterday.   Needless to say, we have done lot's of visiting, holding and petting in the past few days...and not just with the babies.   These viruses, like the horrific storms we have seen across the country lately, seem worse than they have in years past.  Does anyone feel the same?

I put together a quick tabletop today so I could participate in Marty's Tabletop Tuesday party.  She is the most precious person and she has a beautiful home.  You can click on the link here.  Be sure and drop by and visit with her and drop in on some of her guests...you'll be glad you took the time.

I love white ceramic pieces and always keep my eye open for them.  I've used some white pieces in my tabletop, paired with a silver tray and offset with just a touch of brown and green.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tabletop Tuesday! Thanks for dropping by.

I have a little extra time on my hands right now as I'm stuck in a hotel room in Mexico while my husband attends to some business. So I've enjoyed catching up on all of your projects. Wonderful!! I recall now that I used your Courtly Check ideas on my cloches in the past. I just love how black makes things "pop"... as they say.
Take care... Y'all stay well.

I'm sorry to hear everyone has been sick, Anita! I hope you all get to feeling better soon and you manage to avoid it altogether! Lovely whites; they are just perfect for the warmer months. I have found myself drawn to white pieces lately, too.

Your white pieces make a beautiful art vignette on the silver tray. The touch of green ivy is the finishing touch. I really like this look. I have mini pitchers and sugar bowls on a pewter tray in my kitchen and it gives the same appearance. I'm visiting over from Marty's Tabletop Tuesday.
Sure hope you and you and Mike manage to miss the virus, hope your family is better soon.........
