I'm sharing this recipe for which I promise you will receive rave reviews. These chips are so good and can be eaten alone or with your choice of dips. They are also quick and easy.
Cut your tortillas in desired shape...I use Halloween cookie cutters. Drop into peanut oil and fry for about 2 minutes, until light brown.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with seasoning.
Store in a sealed container until ready to use.
Tip: If you store these for a couple of days, they can stale. To bring them back to life, spread on a baking sheet and place in a 350 preheated oven for a couple minutes. This will warm and crisp them back up, just like new.
Halloween Tortilla Chips
Package corn tortillas
Peanut Oil
Paprika

Salt
Cayenne Pepper
Cut tortillas into wedges or various shapes using cookie cutters. A cookie cutter will easily cut through 3-4 tortillas at a time. Fry tortillas in small batches in peanut oil heated to about 350 degrees in large container. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Season to taste with mix of salt, cayenne pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Can be made a day ahead of time and stored in air tight container.
Enjoy and Happy Halloween!!
All the best,

What a cute idea, I will have to try this, thanks! Denise@cottagesisters
What a cute idea. I am out of town so can't make these for Halloween but think I will look for a turkey cookie cutter and make some for Thanksgiving "snicky-snacks"!

Cute! Can you use something other than peanut oil to fry them in? I'm allergic.
