Fall In the Smokies

Still enjoying our time off, we have been traveling around town and enjoying the sites along with a bit of shopping.  The trees don't have a lot of their glorious fall color yet, but you can definetly determine the season from all the outdoor decor being dressed about the town.

A black bear made from round hay bales.

Lots of big, beautiful bright orange pumpkins.

We had the pleasure of attending a Mountain Wedding.

Lots and lots of scarecrows are in town visiting.

A monsterously huge pumpkin and crows.

I'm joining Outdoor Wednesday.  Please click on the link to visit.

My daughter wants to go pumpkin picking with the baby, Anita. She's two months old. I think the pumpkins will be bigger than my granddaughter! I will have to take pictures of that trip! We used to take the kids every year to a local farm that had fields of pumpkins and do a U-pick Sunday. I think she remembers that.

That huge pumpkin and crow was so neat. What was it made of?
We have several people around here that do the bale decor.
I love seeing the area change from day to day.
Our weather has been great also.
Wish it would stay like this now till Spring.
