Our Christmas holidays are always filled with running around from house to house, visiting and opening presents...snacking and enjoyin
g family. This year, the GBs opened presents at their own homes and then at my Mom's and last at our house...these activities happening on Christmas Eve and through Christmas Day. On Christmas Day, after opening presents at three other homes and at our house, including stockings at our house, the GBs pushed aside all the toys and had the most fun in a big cardboard box. If we had only known, think of the money we could have all saved.
As you can see, the box was a big hit, enjoyed by all the GBs, except for Braeden. Have no doubt that he will be joining in the craziness soon...for now, he just ignores the noise and snoozes right along.
All the best,

My kids adore boxes and playing in them. Coarse' all kids do, that and balloons! that baby grandson of your is so dang precious, to precious for words. It makes me want another one. I want to scoop him up and love him, what a little tiny doll! Enjoy!
It figures, right. I'll have to keep this in mind since this summer I'll be a grandma for the first time. I guess the box allows for more imagination than a toy that has a predetermined purpose. Seeing the picture of little Braeden reminds me of just how small they start out.
Oh the couple of times we've moved the kids have had a BLAST with the boxes!!! I know they loved their playing at your house. That baby is just adorable!!!

Oh Anita, thats how it always is...those big old boxes make the most fun cause kids can really use their imaginations in them! That baby....oh my goodness, is so very beautiful! Have a great year..come say hi :D

How cute Anita!
When my kids were little my Mom used to say the same thing...and she'd say "you don't have to spend a million $$$$'s" ..she would buy them tons of things and they would have more fun with the box, or ribbons....or wrapping paper.....go figure!
Enjoy!
Hugs,
Lynn
