Display Stand - Met Monday

Here is an idea for a quick and easy display stand.  Use a glass ice cream/parfait dish or something similar with a substantial base as your riser....I have a large serving plate, a dinner plate and for the top, I opted for a shallow bowl but you could use a salad plate.  Three ice cream/parfait dishes act as risers for each section.

This idea can be used for serving cupcakes or tidbits on a buffet...I would suggest if you don't want to make the piece permanent, use florist putty to secure the pieces temporarily.  If you want to make the piece permanent, see my earlier post on attaching glass pieces, which can be found here.

Another idea is to stack the pieces for a single tier or a double tier server.

Have fun with your decorating.  I'm joining Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for Met Monday.  Please visit her here and take time to browse through all the wonderful ideas listed.

All the best,

Great idea, Anita! I love the idea of using the putty, too, because sometimes you only want to do this for a single occasion or party.

This is such a flexible, pretty way to adorn a table or countertop. I love your house screen in the background, too.
