When I was a teen, I received a silver dresser set as a gift from my parents. At the time, I thought it was pretty and I used it often. At some point, I lost track of the set and I have no idea what ever happened to it. I found a beautiful set at an Antique shop that reminds me of the one I used to have, but I wish I was smart enough when I was growing up to keep some of these items.
Items displayed on a silver tray
I love intricate detail on my silver pieces...this dresser set has some great scroll and floral work.
Displayed on a silver tray, I have added a small white pitcher and bowl set and a silver lidded cosmetic jar.
I am having a Rooster-licious giveaway for my Blogaversary. Please click here for the post and instruction on how to enter. I'm accepting entries through Friday Jan 29.

I have a set similiar to this one also. My great grandmother had exceptionally long hair. My job was to brush her hair with her silver hairbrush. Then my mom would pin it up for her. It is one of my treasured memories of her and my mom. Every time that I look at the set, it reminds me of it.
OH...I LOVE IT AND THE LITTLE WHITE PITCHER TOO! I HAVE A GOLD DRESSER SET THAT MY HUBBIE BOUGHT FOR ME...WE JUST NEVER OUT GROW OUR LOVE FOR THESE THINGS DO WE! COME SAY HI :D
What a beautiful dresser set. I saw one other one with a comb and I'm amazed. You hardly ever see the comb. This is just lovely. Thanks so much for sharing.
Have a wonderful Silver Sunday!

All so beautiful Anita.
I think there are a lot of us out here that wish we had kept things from our youth.
But, I'm hoping my children will learn from my mistakes and not do the same thing. Time will tell.
