Ode to the Cupcake

Cupcakes are so very fine
Lots of flavors and they taste sublime

So many ways to make them, frost them and take them
They're quick and easy to make on a whim

They can be fancy or they can be plain

Fun to eat in the sunshine or in the rain

Loved by young and old
A cupcake is a sight to behold!


Don't worry, I won't quit my day job to become a poet....but I can make a mean cupcake.
